Stable dehydroaromatization of ethane over Zn ion exchanged MFI type galloaluminosilicate zeolite

Ethane dehydroaromatization (EDA) reaction is one of the promising processes to meet growing demand aromatics in future. Zn ion exchanged MFI type aluminosilicate zeolite (Zn/[Al]-MFI) shows high activity on EDA reaction. and Brønsted acid derived from Al sites contribute reaction, but excess strong promote coke formation, leading rapid deactivation. Herein, we have developed a new synthesis method for galloaluminosilicate (Zn/[Ga,Al]-MFI). The formation was suppressed by partially substituting with Ga since acidity are weaker than that sites. Zn/[Ga,Al]-MFI ideal catalyst achieve both catalytic stability Our work provides design direction catalysts which can progress transformation light alkanes value-added chemicals.
